8th July 2024: Bridging the Gap Organization has launched Brigap Christian Youth Fellowship (BCYF), one of its major program activities under Youth and Student Ministry. The event was conducted in Divine Mission Pentecostal Church under the theme “Let Love Lead" (Col 3:13-14) and was attended by youth from various churches and Christian ministries, church leaders and partners in Juba. The event featured a number of activities such as gospel music, poetry, preaching and speeches of encouragement from top church leaders.
Brigap Christian Youth Fellowship (BCYF) is a non-denominational Christian gathering which aims at helping young people to experience and share the manifold love of God through praise, worship, earnest prayer and sound and relevant biblical teachings. A program of Brigap Organization, BCYF fosters the spiritual growth of young people in South Sudan and provides platforms for them to express their God-given talents and skills to glorify God, minister love, grace and hope through creative expressions of music and arts, sound and relevant biblical teachings and earnest communal prayer.
The Executive Director of Brigap Organization, Ebenezer Gore Emiliano, told the gathering that the only way to bridge the generational, leadership, skill and service gaps is through spreading genuine love. Bishop Bob Yahuza, the presiding Bishop of Christian Brotherhood Church (CBC) Juba Diocese, who launched the program, said it's important that youth should build bridges not just between them and their leaders and elders but most importantly, between them as youth to strengthen their unity and love.
Meanwhile, Rev. Charles Marcelo, the Founder of Call For Mission Ministry, emphasized in his preaching that forgiveness is very crucial in building and sustaining relationships at all levels.
BCYF is scheduled to take place every month, bringing together to celebrate love. The location for the Fellowship will be changing to reach as many youth as possible with the message of Love.
